Same twelve shots, same order, same day. Then compare, and this is where the ordering pays off,
because photo 3 going out sits next to photo 3 coming back.
Record on return:
- Odometer, for the distance covered.
- Fuel level, against what it went out with.
- Any new damage, photographed close up and in the matching walkaround shot, so it is
clear where on the vehicle it is.
- Anything missing from the inventory.
- Late return, if any, with the actual time.
Then settle the deposit against what you found: in full, or partly, with the difference
explained.
